Who We're Looking For

🔹 Licensed Psychologists & Mental Health Counselors or Social Workers (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW)Requirements:

• Licensed in the state of Florida
• Willing to see a minimum of 15 client hours per week
• Open to a hybrid model with some in-office time in Pete and South Tampa
• Experience or interest in couples therapy, trauma, child therapy, or eating disorders is a plus
• Prior private practice or insurance panel experience is a bonus

Compensation: 1099 Contract Position $80–$140/hour | Full-time potential: $95,000–$150,000/year

Private Practice Without Doing It All Yourself

An established referral stream. You don't have to build a caseload from scratch. WPS has an established presence in the Tampa Bay community and ongoing referrals for both individual and couples therapy, with particularly strong demand for in-person services.

We handle the business side. Our administrative team supports scheduling, intake, insurance credentialing, billing, and collections so you can spend more of your time being a clinician rather than running a business.

Flexibility and autonomy. Our model is Independent Contractor (1099) which means clinicians have meaningful control over their schedules, caseloads, clinical niches, and the type of practice they want to build. Opportunities are available for both part-time and full-time hours depending on what works best for you.

Beautiful, established waterfront office spaces. See clients in comfortable, professional offices in South Tampa and St. Petersburg without taking on the expense and responsibility of leasing and managing your own space. Our Tampa office has waterfront views and an unbeatable location and setting.

Compensation that grows with your practice. Our incentive-based compensation structure rewards clinicians as their caseload and monthly production grow, with earning potential of approximately $95,000–$150,000+ annually depending on caseload, payer mix, and schedule.

Develop the work you most want to do. We encourage clinicians to develop areas of specialization and help connect clients with providers whose expertise fits their needs.
