In honor of the expansion of our St. Pete location this month we are doing a locally focused blog to explore resources and activities that can help boost mental well-being and self-care.
We love so much that our local St. Petersburg, Florida offers that is both unique and relaxing and offers a lot of opportunities for activities that help mental health and well-being. We compiled a quick list of a variety of activities that can help boost your mental well-being. Here are some options to consider:Beach Time:
Parks and Nature Reserves:
St. Petersburg has several beautiful parks and nature reserves where you can go for walks, have a picnic, or simply immerse yourself in nature’s serenity.-
- Fort Desoto Park is not only a beach. It also is a nature park, has camping sites and all kinds of fun activities to check out.
- Boyd Hill Nature Preserve
- Wheedon Island Preserve
Yoga and Meditation Classes:
Look for local yoga studios or meditation centers that offer classes to help reduce stress and promote mental clarity.Art and Cultural Events:

- For this one we will reference a blog we did back in 2019 when we first opened the St. Pete location that was all about local Mindful resources and activities.
- Since then we have discovered a number of local mindfulness groups and meetups. Here are a few:
Local Cafés and Restaurants:
Spend time at cozy cafés or restaurants with outdoor seating, where you can relax, enjoy good food, and people-watch. On Beach Drive in St. Pete, there is a street lined with large and small restaurants that offer both indoor and outdoor eating. The Pier has several waterfront restaurants. Then you have Central Ave. in St. Petersburg which is streets and streets of unique restaurants, cafes, shops, eateries, bars, and otherwise unique establishments. If you travel on over to the gulf side of St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island you will find all sorts of other local favorites and waterfront restaurants. The list of places to try for eating is never-ending but we personally find waterfront dining to be some of the best for relaxation and resetting so we will name a few of those local favorites.Music Therapy:
